Welcome to our website.
We are a small assembly of Christians who meet four miles north of Blackpool, between Cleveleys and Fleetwood, at Cumberland Chapel.
ABOUT US
We are a small, independent church — more accurately, an assembly of Christians. Responsibility for the care and guidance of the assembly lies in the hands of the elders, while teaching and preaching is shared by those God has equipped for the task, along with visiting speakers who come to give help.
Our aim is to serve God in worship at Cumberland Chapel and in the local community by sharing the gospel, the good news that through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus, sinners can be forgiven and receive new life.
As the Bible says, “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:17), and, “By grace are ye saved through faith… not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8–9).
